So we spent the weekend at Phu Foilom, a mountain nearish to Khon Kaen. We had a Christian camp there, but we invited lots of non-Christians from universities in about six cities. It was an amazing weekend, but it was a little colder up there & we stayed really busy!
Mommy, Daddy, and I stayed in a cabin with three other families; each family had their own room, and we shared two bathrooms. I was such a celebrity...as usual. I felt like I was being chased by the paparazzi! Lots of people would just come take me out of my stroller & carry me around & take photos. It was insane!
On the first full day we were there, Mommy & I skipped the morning exercises at 6:30 am. Then during the main session, they called people forward who had not gone to exercises. They were interviewing them & asking them why they skipped, if they'd taken a shower, etc. Instead of interviewing Mommy, they interviewed me! Lol! They wanted to know if Icould talk, so Mommy held the microphone to my mouth & I said, "haha!". It was so funny! Everyone laughed with me. Then they gave Mommy a yogurt drink & me a Coca-Cola. I think they just did that to be funny, because Mommy & Daddy gave me the yogurt drink & they shared the Coke.
On the way back from camp last night, we stopped at a Tesco Lotus grocery store in Khon Kaen & got the stuff to make grilled cheese & tomato soup for dinner. The team was very surprised! We were all excited to get yummy comfort food. I ate an entire grilled cheese sandwich by myself! I'm getting to be such a big boy!
Well, it's almost time for us to go back to the base for a team meeting. Goodnight, America! We're just starting our Monday, and you're all about to go to sleep on Sunday night. Strange!
PS About 10 people from our city became Christians at the camp. Praise God! We don't know how many others from the other cities, but we know God is moving!!
